What to Expect in a Foot Care Session

1. Assessment

A thorough feet exam plus AHS Diabetic Foot Risk Screening Exam for Diabetic or High Risk Feet.

2. Wash Feet

Our gentle medical-grade no-rinse solution cleanses and refreshes without drying your skin or the risk of infection associated with foot soaks.

3. Cleanse

We use disposable towels to help thoroughly cleanse your feet, calves and toes.

4. Trim & File

Our clinically approved techniques ensure nails are trimmed safely using sterile-at-point-of-use equipment.

5. Treating Foot Problems

We provide quality, non-invasive foot care treatments for patients unable to do their own feet safely, or high-risk feet; reduction of corns and calluses, cracked heels and fissure care; thick/deformed or discolored nail reduction; fungal nail treatment; and ingrown/involuted nail care.

6. Relaxing Foot Rub

Therapeutic foot rub alleviates discomfort and promotes blood circulation.

7. Dry Floss

Soft cotton/towel ensures dry, clean web spaces in-between your toes.

8. Client Education

Regarding at-home footcare maintenance in-between visits, discuss for referrals to FP or FP or podiatrists if needed.

9. Optional Polish

Depending on what kind of treatment/service you have booked; you can choose your nail polish to complete your medi-pedi.

10. Rebook

Book an Appointment With Your Personal Foot Care Provider

Our foot care treatments and other health services are not taxable as they are performed by medical professionals. They are also claimable on either taxes or extended medical benefits. You may check your insurance provider if you are covered for nursing footcare services, as some extended medical can cover up to 80%. If you don’t have extended medical, treatment receipts can be used on annual taxes as a medical expense.

Payment for services is due at the time of service, and any benefit claims must be submitted by the patient.

Method of Payment

For payment of services, we accept cash, cheque, e-transfers, debit, Visa and Mastercards. We do not accept American Express.

Direct Billing

If you have medical coverage through Blue Cross, Sunlife or any other private insurance plans, Feet Terrific will provide you with a receipt to submit to your health insurance providers. That may cover Health/Nursing Services – Private/Footcare Nursing. 

Extended Benefits
